Tundra or Trumpeters?
#1
I found these guys on the web., very, very unusual. Got as close as I could. Need a telephoto camera.[frown] They have been there for more then a week and i suspect they are still there. Been on this river for more then 30 years, many, many times ea. year, and never spotted this before.
Anyway, take a close look )the best you can) at the head/bill area. I have my own opinion which would make this even more unusual. What do you think?
P/S. Fishing has been great this winter even with high water.[Smile]

[cool][#0000ff]While I admire the beauty of swans I ain't no expert on species. I can't tell a trumpeter from a saxophoner.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Without a clear closeup of the head and other distinguishing features it is tough to hazard a guess.[/#0000ff]
