My Custom Pond Hopper!
[inline "Tieton II 2009-08-10 2.jpg"]
Last year my sweet, thoughtful wife gave me a Tieton III inflateable pontoon boat from Sams Club! I added a few things to make it a little more comfortable... Deep Cycle 12 volt battery inserted in a cooler with a car radio and speakers, Minkota 30 lb thrust trolling motor, Eagle Fishmark 320 fish finder and Serous Satelite Radio set to 103 Blue Collar Comedy, "Get er done!" A true fishing machine... LBD

Yea it works great and lasts all day with a deep cycle battery... Almost gets up on plane!!! heh
It rides really good, but had to put the seat as far forward as it would go... Yep all licensed and legal!!! Let me tell you I get guys at the boat ramp just staring at my boat just studying that box... I use it ice fishing also and could have sold about 100 of the things to guys asking where I got it from... I have made and sold 4 so far, they just aren't cheap to make!

I don't even listen to music in the truck. When I take a cooler it normally has ice and bait. I might put in a drink if there is enough room. Ron

It's not so much for the radio, and it really dosn't get turned up that loud... I am not deaf!
Come on people don't lump me in with the jerks with WAY too loud music! As if you wouldn't listen to say a football game or even the news while you fish... I understand how it is to have people nearby that don't give a rip about anyone else! And I am not one of them!

Yes, an Ipod or even a tape player for my recorded books is nice when things are slow. But I also enjoy silence and solitude sometimes, as do some others. With earphones I don't disturb anything. Pack in areas are best for solitude, plus the fishing pressure is lessened. But it's easy enough to get away when the river is packed with noisy inner tubers during the busy season, as my craft is light enough to go where they can't..

looks like you have it nicely rigged but I am really impressed with the radio in the cooler... not surprising people were willing to pay to have you make one for them...
