Hit Strawberry this morning for a few hours. Bad news is, I forgot my camera, good news, the old man had his, but we don't fish very close together.

He did cruz by a couple of times to catch a couple of fishies:

Nice fish. After friday I realized that I am perched out. I need to get the fly rod out and go chase some trout for a while.[Smile]

I know but when I go percin or bassin I usually take other rods as well and never get around to usin the fly rod.[Smile] When I go after trout I usually use the fly rod with 1 spin rod as a backup. I usually never get to the spinning rod for I am having too much fun.[cool]

About 11:30 wind started, so we came in at noon and loaded up. By the time we were all loaded (maybe 20 minutes - took our time ate some lunch)
there were large white caps. We got off at the right time for sure

Good eye! Funny thing. It was definitely legal size to keep and I was planning on making a stringer of some sort and cooking this guy up as I am getting in the mood for fish.
But, he had different ideas and literally swam out of the net while I was making the stringer......oh well.
He was the last fish before leaving, and I really had no ice chest to get it home anyway.
