Well after getting home late last night from Lake Lowell I got up late 6:30 am. I looked at the weather forcast and it was calling for wind. Well we got it. I am glad I didn't head to Strike today. Ron

From what I hear Strike is not a place you want to be in any kind of wind.
Plus for 10 miles of wind predicted everywhere else, you can just about figure 20 miles an hour wind on the reservoirs. That is the way it always works for me.
I think you made a very good choice.

Yep, same weather pattern here (Omaha, NE):
Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 8 to 11 mph increasing to between 20 and 23 mph. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Breezy, with a south wind 11 to 14 mph increasing to between 21 and 24 mph. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.
Etc. Etc. Etc. [:/] It's been this way since ice-out (about 3 weeks ago)! The waters I fish are small enough that I don't have to worry about waves... but controlling my float-tube is another story altogether! It's just no fun (yet). <BIG sigh>
