My wife let me go fishing after church so I got to the water a little after 2. The dam was jam packed so I went to Booker T and used that ramp. The winds were aweful and the battleships were out in full force. The waves from both were hitting my boat from all sides and I could hardly even stand and run the trolling motor. Suprisingly the fishing was great emoScratch. The bigger fish were really feeding good. I caught most of them on a chrome spoon and spinnerbait. There were also plenty of white bass also in the area. Water was in the high 70's and I fished depths of 3.5 to 14 feet. Fish were pretty much all over and the fall bite is really coming on emoParty. I think I may have caught my personal best but the fish was hooked under the toungue somehow and started bleeding so I just got it back in the water as quick as possible and let it swim back. It was big though I thought I was snagged until I noticed my line coming up to the top emoScratch and the only thing that came out of the water was a bucket shaking around! Didn't take time to measure weigh and take pics. Rather see it swim away emoRedface. Had a great evening though the lake got alot calmer about 7:30 and I left a little after 8.
