Decided that the waves were only two foot out on the lake so I went for a couple hours this evening.
Water temp has dropped a couple degrees down to 57. The water I found was either muddy or heavy stained. The bite was slow and very soft. I did have one kill a swim bait this evening which was my first one this year on a swim. emoSmile The rest of mine were on plastic. I had the wind blowing like crazy no matter where I tried to get out away from it. I think it was just following the lake around the shoreline. emoAngry It caused one heck of a bow in my line and I missed a couple due to not realizing they were there until it was too late. I fished from 4:30 to 7 this evening and boated five bass. Two slicks, a 2/2, a 3/7 and a 4/5. Not really all that bad for a quick trip in that kind of wind. A couple times I about got blown out of the boat. I had the lake to myself and when I got there only one guy was there and he was leaving. He said it was too bad for him. emoBooHoo I also lost two others that I did not get a good hook in. I will be glad to see the wind die down and the summer kick back in. Still was nice to get out and put a stretch in my line.

Looking forward to this Friday's ratman tournament. emoAngler Jmax
