I'm heading out to Bonneville Dam today. I'm supposed to meet up with someone who has experience with Salmon and Sturgeon fishing in the area. Wish me luck! If nothing else, I'll get pictures of the area to post.

I never did find the person I was supposed to be fishing with. So I never went fishing. But, I did enjoy watching the fish in the "fish ladder" at the dam. And I also enjoyed watching the fish at the Trout/Salmon/Sturgeon hatchery. Got lots of pics and some video clips as well! Need to edit them before I get them posted. Will hopefully have this done by Saturday!

OH man we went out for my bday and i had some of the craziest Sturgeon fishing ive ever experianced got my keeper and got to fight 4 oversize and one took a huge leap out for me it was so cool.
we were at bonniville . for the columbia up to bonniville and the willamette are open for the rest of the year now and 7 days a week which is unusual and can change anytime if the quota is met but for now it is so far off from the past few years that that is why it opened 7 days..... The fishing should stay pretty good till the end of the year as well, after that it gets colder and the bite slows down . It is a year round fishery but around fall and late spring after the water warms it seems to be its best and right now its HOT! The other thing is that different sections of the rivers open and close off and on during the year just give me a call anytime with any questions ..... Right now is also the turn on for the other big boys the kings are in ill probly be going for a big fall chinook this weekend on sunday and monday down at the coast! You moved to the eugene area????? LIke i said any questions on where to go whats in season anything i usually have the info ....Also like i said when u call leave a message and ill call u back i dont awnser my phone enless your in my address book and i know its u when u cal lol......TTYS Patti
