spent the day over on the west side , hit a few of the lesser known creeks outside of brethren. Of the three of us , only one broght home fish .
Most of the fish I saw were skunkey at best, already darkining on the bodys and worn away white fins .
The stairs at tippy were covered in eggs from top to bottom .
The professional snaggers were out in vast numbers making it difficult to enjoy the day .
Once again I have to say , Thank you Mi.D.N.R. for doing such a wonderfull job during the salmon run .

the part is they have a man on the clock, all they have to do is alocate the labor...

but dont count them out just yet... I know of a couple guys who were mailed citations for poaching by mail... with pictures, co's took pics of fish being caught, license plates of cars driving off with fish as angers catch them and take them ashore and coming back....[] thats right, snagging is poaching when snagging is not leagle for the area...

remember, just because some one got the fish, got home with them with out being tagged by a co dosnt mean you still wont get busted.... It all depends on who the photogenic one is.... LOL Tellaphotogenic that is....[sly]

Well i'm done with the west side now , the snaggers can have it .
It just turns my stomach to see all those people violating something I hold dear .
Pity , guys that want to enjoy their sport can't because the D.N.R. won't do anything to stop the poaching .
And they want to increase the fees ?

reminds me of the bush adminstration veiws on polution, lets allow manufactures to solve polution problems voluntarily on thier own, we dont have to have government regulators enforce polution controlls....

ly enough, that is grandholms veiws as well, we got a tax hike, now we will have to vote next year on full one percent sales tax hike moving it up to 7% on every thing....

to bad it is human nature to live like there is no tomarow, with out a doubt if we continue to live this way, there will one day be no tomarow....
