[cool][green]Earlier this year I thought that my shoulder had recovered sufficiently enough so that I could wet a fly or two. Well I misjudged my rate of recovery. After a couple of dozen casts my shoulder got real tired and started to hurt. So then & there I decided to start on a self imposed rebuilding exercise program. That was to practice casting for a short periods of time several times a day. After a couple of month my shoulder is now feeling real fine. For the past two weeks the wind has been really blowing pretty good. I usually will not go FF on windy day but didn’t want that fact to interrupt my practice sessions. Guess what? Had to revert back to casting with my thumb on the top of the rod in order to power my casts into the wind. I can hear FGD saying “I told you so!” But the best part is that my shoulder has strengthen sufficiently that I can hopefully get out there next week. [/green]
