I have very good luck with a gold willow leaf spinner and nightcrawlers

I usually use a simple worm and bobber for most of the lakes in Washington if fishing from shore. If they dont bite on that add a little bit of dough bait on the hook. 90% of the time that works here.

Regular bread dough? Do you add a some to the already existing worm, or do you use the dough by itself?

Trout have a tendency to suck the bait off of your hook. With this rig one can feel the gentle touch of a trout looking for dinner.[/green] [signature]

If a simple worm and bobber isnt working I just push the dough over the hook point a bit. It has worked quite a bit for me when the worm itself wasnt getting any bites. Usually just a bit of white bread or corn bread balled up.
