Anglers May Keep Wild Columbia Kings
#1
SALEM, OR—Due to the strong return of Washington and Oregon’s summer chinook salmon in the Columbia River, fishery managers have decided to execute a non-selective fishery in the river’s main waters.

This means anglers can keep clipped and non-clipped (wild) chinook salmon on much of the Columbia—from Oregon’s Tongue Point upstream to the McNary Dam.

The limits and other restrictions found in the “2005 Oregon Sport Fishing Guide” remain in effect.
