Berry updates?

So my planned 3 day tournament trip this weekend has dwindled down to a day trip to the berry this Friday. Do wer have any updates from the past couple days? Did the slush layer freeze? How is fishing? I will be taking sleds and one other person. Would even be willing to meet someone there and ride across with us if you know how / where to hit them.

Also, I'm debating on heading back Saturday or possibly Monday but nobody to go with. I would entertain the idea of taking someone up there and using my sleds for the cost of gas for the trip.

I haven't been able to ice fish for a few years now for lack of fishing partners. Getting kinda anxious now that i have sleds.

FYI - be warned if you are going to strawberry Saturday. It looks like there's a big snowmobile ride planned there Saturday morning starting at the marina at 9am. The parking lot will likely be packed way worse than normal, and good luck fishing around the ramp. I'm sure it'll be non-stop shots there, especially in the morning as they warm them up for the ride.
