Farmington pond

Has anyone been to Farmington lately? I drove by today and it seems plenty thick as there are holes drilled. I didn’t dare venture out too far though as I was by myself. Any info would be good. Thinking of going after work Thursday

We were there on Monday. The group next to us limited out on planters. I have a underwater camera and the fish were very active mostly right on the bottom. shrimp and earth worms is what they were hitting on.

Farmington pond has been fishable since mid December. As mentioned, plenty of planters to be caught.

Safe Ice. My son and friends fish it often.
They have gotten to the point of not taking much tackle with them. On that pond all you need is a small treble hook, a sinker 12 in above it, and a loaf of bread.
Pinch the bread around the hook and lower it down - they catch dozens of fish every time just on this alone. Have outfished every other bait we have ever put down the hole.
