[signature] Re: [davetclown] Huron-Manistee User Fees Are In Effect - lonehunter - 02-01-2004 it seems as soon as people start to get out and enjoy our natural resources, along comes some government idiot that sees the opurtunity to exploit these family outings . i have been to the au sable more times than i can count , hunted thoes woods for over 15 years now . pay a parking tax after they closed off a vast magority of the roads we onced used ? my driveway is larger than the whirlpool parking lot , my backyard is bigger than the alcona dam parking lot . neither parking lot has a trash can or an outhouse , we fishermen and the local townspeople clean the area . yes , some government idiot has figured a way to squeese money for nothing out of the publics pockets again . i'de like to see our taxes dropped doller for doller that they take in from these new rules , and adjusted to reflect the closed off trails and forests we once enjoyed . why pay more for less ?
