South Fork Snake fish kill news release - IDFG_Fisheries - 09-09-2016

Hi there folks,
IDFG has been responding to reports of a fish kill along the SF Snake below PaliSades Reservoir this week. We suspect this is related to proliferative kidney disease, but are waiting on lab results to confirm. It looks like a small percentage of the fish population is affected and that its mostly impacting Mountain Whitefish at this time.

Here is a link to the latest news release with an update on what we have found.

If you have further questions, please contact the fish staff in the Upper Snake Region office in Idaho Falls.

Thanks for posting this info Martin, please keep us informed, if you don't mind. Hopefully its just confined to the whitefish.
