Need hook remover for very small panfish. - harryhh - 07-03-2016
Hello,
I've been taking a lady fishing and she hates it when a small panfish swallows the hook. And I mean small panfish. Many from mouth to tail would fit across a mans palm.
Does anyone know of a hook remover that is effective and small enough for such small fish?
I found on amazon "Sams Fishing 10 piece multi color hook disgorgers," but they look too big also.

I usually carry around a pair of Hemostat pliers. They will fit into the mouth of some very small fish.[cool]

You can find some decent ones at a local medical supply or even at some of the tool surplus outlets.
Shimano makes a good set too. They come with a lanyard to go around your neck or tie to your fishing apparel. [cool]
