Didn't have much of a plan, so we started in cave lake and it ended up being where we caught our only 2 keepers. Tonya had 2 shorts for the day and I managed just 1 short and the 2 keepers we had. I caught those fish in the same school, in about five minutes, both were caught on Picosso Rig . Tonya did have one come unbuttoned on the road bed that looked to be a solid keeper on a shaky head. I broke off as well on a big spoon, I don't think it was a catfish but who knows, never seen it, all I know it thumped it hard on the fall of my initial cast, on the far side of the road bed. I set the hook and she pulled like a freight train, and then broke! I was upset but that's the way it goes. We couldn't manage a limit, but I couldn't believe we got BF with a 3 lb'r!
Part 2, Chickamauga HBSP night series, It started out tough for me, but manage to put together a decent 3 fish limit of 10.23. I fished solo as well. It was really windy at times but it was a beautiful night with the full moon. 20 boats fished and 13 lbs got in the money. Caught all of them on shaky heads as well.
