Owyhee Reservoir 05/14 - crappyslayer - 05-19-2016
Took young grandkids to Owyhee last Saturday. Fished 3 rods for 3 hours and caught 70 to 80 crappie. They were medium size and very shallow. They were in spots here and there in coves all over the lake. But they were spotty. You would think you had the structure type figured out, then would catch nothing in great looking spots. Never saw a single bass, but I noticed there was a tournament going on. Hopefully someone has some info..

Thanks for the report, I've missed fishing owyhee the last couple of years. How was the water level and the ramp availability? Also, what size is meant by medium sized? 9"? 10"? Glad to hear you were catching some fish with the grandkids! Thanks again!
