Does anybody know how the Kokanee fishing is on Payette Lake or Little Payette? I'd like to get my boat out there and troll around but not sure if it would be worth while targeting Kokes.

We explored Little Payette Lake last summer for a couple of hours. Trolled along a channel out toward the middle and picked up several small Kokanee. Lots of fish on the radar.

I often catch Kokes at Little P while ice fishing. There seem to be lots of them, but the biggest I've caught was around 8 inches, possibly smaller.
They don't have the nice "salmon" flavor that Kokes from other lakes have either. More of a tasteless fish........ That's my $.02.
