Wiiard A DNR Special - boatfisher - 03-20-2016
Hit Willard today around 11:00 to dip a pole and do an equipment check at the south Marina. Whoa! never seen so many DNR officers in one place in my life. I counted seven plus three on the DNR boat. Two were busy righting tickets to some unlucky boaters. Thought for sure I would get checked and I was ready for it. But I must have an ugly mug, or a look of sympathy on my face or go ahead make my day look. Because they were checking all around me. Anyway it was a skunky day at the pond. Five feet deep until the middle of the channel then it went to 11 feet. But once you left the channel I only marked 8ft most of the time on the south end.. Be careful there is a lot of places that were only three and four feet deep. Talked to several guys coming in. And there was a lot of skunk in the air. Oh and the docks are still out. [fishon]
