Lobster Au Gratin - tubeN2 - 01-22-2004 [font "verdana"][size 2] 4 tablespoons butter , 1/4 cup flour,all purpose , 1 cup heavy(whipping)cream, 1 cup milk, 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce , 1/2teaspoon salt , 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ., . 2 tablespoon celery,diced , 1 tablespoon onion,grated , 1 tablespoon pimento,chopped , 3/4 cup sharp chedder cheese,shredded , 1 pound lobster meat preheat oven to350,butter a 6 cup casserole dish.in a sause pan melt butter over medium heat. whisk in the flour and cook stirring constantly for 2-3 min. be careful not to brown the flour. remove from heat and slowly whisk in the cream and milk. stir in the worcestershire sauce,salt,pepper,celery,onion,and pimento add 1/2 cup of cheese and lobster meat,mix well. pour mixture into prepared casserole dish and top with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. bakeuntill cheese is lightly brown,about 20 minutes.[/size][/font][font "Times New Roman"][size 2][/size][/font] [signature] |
