Any news from Mud Lake? Have heard some fish being caught on North side.

Most of the ones we caught (90% ) were 4-6" 10 days ago. My biggest was 8". Most were caught between 430 and 515 and mostly from one hole.
Have to move around some. Drilled a dozen holes or more and had bites in 3 of them. Going to try on Tuesday afternoon.

Let me know if you see any elk out there, I have a cow tag until mid February and all I've found is elk on Camas that I can't shoot.

Went to Mud on saturday. Wandered all over that lake and found nothing but extremely shallow water and tiny perch. We would look down the hole and watch them come in 20 at a time and none of them were over 4 inches. Wont be going back this year...

Didn't see any elk on Sunday. Saw 4 moose though. Fishing was slow. One decent keeper perch and a few other small ones.
