All, I've been fishing around the Idaho Falls area for 10 years now and I just got a boat, I've been hitting up Ririe a lot lately but want to go try someplace new. I wanted to go out to mud lake and check it out but I don't know what the water conditions are if anyone knows it would be a giant help. I don't really want to drive out there with the boat and not be able to launch it[
] Anyways any help/advise would be nice. I have a 19ft spectrum in bored so it needs a little bit deeper water.[signature]

I think I will go there tomorrow and try it. I have not fished it from a boat before so I will try jigging andtossing

]The lake had moss floating in most areas that made it hard to cast. The water was off-color and at times you could only see 1 foot down other times to get see about 3 feet but mostly was off color for the most part and I would considered it in fishable around the middle part of the lake where we were at . There were thousands of birds and the bottom was all stirred up. We did see a 2" dead catfish at the south boat ramp.[signature]
