Newer isn't always better, and never more true than with computer programs.
Sometimes upgrading leaves you with an incompatible new version, or one
bloated with unnecessary bells and whistles, and none of the good options
of the older version.. OldVersion.com supplies old versions of various
programs, from utilities like Acrobat Reader to communications software
like AOL Instant Messenger and multimedia like RealPlayer.

"New and improved" usually means that the original was probably the best that there ever was. Thanks for the link. I was able to find some useable software there that was, like you said, better than the newer version.
