Fishing the Enoree R. - Jimoutside - 07-02-2015 Does anybody here fish the Enoree River? I have a place where I have permission to fish on a sizable property bordering the Enoree in Taylors, SC, where I caught a couple bream-types this morning. Next I hope to go back and try for catfish. I'm just starting out at this--finally got the breamies to bite, and now I want to try for the cats. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about the Enoree. If the body of water you're fishing is a small or medium sized pond, chances are it's just bullheads and/or channel cats. Frozen chicken liver or a hook loaded with night crawlers should do the trick. If it's a river or larger lake, use like bream or cut/live eel. Make sure your gear is pretty heavy duty when you start using this type of bait. A big flathead or Blue cat will shred smaller gear. [cool] [signature] |
