Ririe or Twin Lakes - gorfish - 06-09-2015 How about an update on these 2 lakes. I want to go tomorrow either half a day or all day depending on the reports I get. Fish were between 20-40 fow. Pink and green wedding rings, pink and white hoochies behind silver and white flashers. All were tipped with shoe peg corn. I fished for about 6 hours. Still looking for the 13-16 inchers. Good luck. [signature] Re: [fallsfish] Ririe or Twin Lakes - gorfish - 06-10-2015 Thanks for the info. Watching the weather and if I have to tend grandkids. That being said, no real boat traffic out there. I heard that they aren't allowing any boats with ballasts on the lake anymore, so that should make it a quieter place for fishermen. The lake is completely full. The other lake I fished had bass on beds and hordes of gills cruising the shallows, so I'd imagine Twin is experiencing similar conditions. [signature] Re: [jaybee] Ririe or Twin Lakes - gstott - 06-14-2015 They are big bladders inside the boat that fill up with lake water to add stability to the boat. Obviously they're the perfect way to transfer mussels too. I wouldn't want them on my reservoir either. Plus they're just obnoxious. [signature] |
