I don't think Idaho uses the preference point system for their hunts but I sure think it helps, at least here in Utah. Utah has enough turkeys statewide now that we have over the counter tags for the month of May. We have to draw for our limited entry hunts in April. The wife and I look forward to our spring turkey hunts, she drew the early hunt this year with 2 points.
