Frozen Lakes? - windriver - 12-18-2014
I have the next two weeks to get in some ice fishing. I'm a little worried that there won't be any of my normal places to go.
Is Montpelier going to be frozen?

Mackay...

deepcreek was completely clear as of Saturday. Weston had some slushy stuff that looked like it was once ice, I stopped and threw a rock and it splashed right threw.

2 weeks ago they were still launching boats at Mackay . I don't think it has been cold enough to make safe ice .
