Makes my Turkey dinner plans, even better. ice on idaho [signature] Re: [chrome_junky] Cascade. Country. - HeyJack - 11-27-2014 I'm new to Idaho but excited to try Cascade through the ice. Is it fishable yet? Also, I live in Star. Where else is good through the ice that is relatively close? Any info is greatly appreciated!! [signature] Re: [HeyJack] Cascade. Country. - cpierce - 11-27-2014 Welcome to Idaho and BFT. I really can't help you much on the ice fishing question. I can't imagine that there is any "safe" ice close to you yet. My idea of safe is more conservative than some others though! [laugh][laugh] You might check on some of the community ponds. My preference would be to fish the river. Good luck! I've been on the ice at Cascade once this season (and I didn't consider that safe), but it has warmed up a lot since then. You might be able to get on the ice still, but I sure wouldn't do it half-heartedly or without lots of extra safety gear. Give it about a month. [signature] |
