Not trying to hijack the thread, but I'm curious about Scofield as well... I just have another question in addition to the OP.
Seems like it doesn't have much in it but trout. Is there anything else to target through the ice there?

No info on ice, but here is info on the daily average temps at the dam this year, and the prior four years. If you figure out when it froze in prior years, this can give you some indication of what to expect.

The last two years it Thanksgiving weekend was the end of the soft water fishing.
The lake is shallower this year than it has been so that may affect the freeze dates.
The lake surface temp was trending much higher until this last week. I am planning to be up there in the next few days and will post an update.

We were up there yesterday the ice was 2-4" thick we were using minnows we got one tiger three rainbows and a lot of small cuts
