Haven't heard much about Magic Res lately. Can anyone provide first hand information about water levels? Will I be able to ice fish near the hot springs this year?

They always say the fishing is great. All I know is you can launch at myrtles point.

I was at hot springs landing a month ago and fished the river where the reservoir normally is. Unless the water comes up dramatically I don't think you will be ice fishing at hot springs landing. Hope this helps.

I was out to Magic last week, no chance of fishing the hot springs,
water level is very low, it's about where it was last year.

No I was fixing a roof out there.
I did watch a couple of folks fishing out of belly boats for a couple hours and didn't see any hook ups.
Heard some real good reports from September though.

I was out on the West side of Magic on Monday and it looks like the water has came up quite a bit, they now have a dock out, there were a couple of boats and several tubers out fishing.
I didn't have a chance to do any fishing and haven't heard how the catching has been.
But I'm sure going to make an effort to get my boat out a couple of more times and
find out.
