Scofield report 9-20 - MasterDaad - 09-21-2014
I took my boat and a couple of friends out to Scofield yesterday. The fall colors are prevalent. The morning fall cool is in the air.
But I was still glad for the shorts and t-shirt by 9AM.
We caught a 7 chubs on flies early for bait. My neighbor had the chub highlight with a double on both flies.

For most of the morning we were constantly reeling in 12-13" cuts.
We finished at noon with 57 fish.
We did find two very large fish. One didn't make it to the boat but one just a shade over 20" did.

Yes, chubs were caught for the meat. After we had seven the flies were put away and we were using lures and jigs tipped with chub meat.
