We're still a bit off, but here in a couple months I know at least a few of you will be walking on water. We should decide if there's going to be another contest this year. I vote yes, and I know a couple other people who will participate for sure too.
So who's in??
It would really be more fun the more people we have participating actively, so don't be shy.
I'm happy to moderate again as an impartial out-of-stater, but if somebody else wants to do it, by all means speak up.

having a newborn son in beggining of december really put a damper on my ice fishing plans last year. Planning to get out on the hard deck alot more this year so you can count me in

][/quote]In my opinion, we should go ahead with sign ups and change the rules on the fly (up to the point it starts, if necessary). Sign ups have historically gone pretty slow. I'd bet we'll have at least 2x what have already committed before it's over, but a full contest list would be nice.

Looks like we aren't going to have a lot of competitors this year. I sure wish there were more people interested in this. It has really been a lot of fun to see how many species I can catch in a season and has definitely made me a better and more versatile fisherman.
If you didn't sign up but had interest, please let us know why haven't joined up. I'd sure like to know. I think it would be great to fill up the roster.
