middle fork mess - crappyslayer - 08-23-2014 Went up to see how the middle for of the boise is looking. Chocolate Shake is the words to best describe it. All the thunder storms and slides have silt flowing down the river even weeks afterwards. There are places where things have changed quite a bit. For perspective, imagine the MFB buried under debris up to 30 feet deep. I'm not talking a little silt in the water, I mean the entire canyon bottom buried side to side for 15 miles and the original channel totally obliterated. [signature] |
