Anderson Ranch tips? - nevadaboy - 07-29-2014 Going up to Anderson Ranch for the first time this weekend for bass. I'm not looking for spots or baits just a general idea on what to expect and wanted to know do these stay shallow this time of you or should I focus on deeper stuff? Thanks for any help. Tight lines. Might find fish in the willows were the river comes in. They like shad raps if they're in a chasing mood, probably way hot for that. The skeeters are ferocious. The water is crystal clear and 70 degrees. Good luck [signature] Re: [dtayboyz] Anderson Ranch tips? - Lunddude - 07-29-2014 [quote dtayboyz]It's tough when it's hot in the summer. I know the state record is out of there but never hear anything about them. [signature] Re: [nevadaboy] Anderson Ranch tips? - dtayboyz - 07-29-2014 Different Anderson. No largemouth. Smallies, rainbow, kokes, bull trout, perch, suckers and squaw fish. Some claim there are craw dads, but in 30 years of fishing there I have yet to see one. [signature] |
