Aerial fish stocking - RTOGB5 - 07-10-2014 http://youtu.be/ya5iGxL-7R0 Does this hurt the fish? [signature] Re: [RTOGB5] Aerial fish stocking - Kent - 07-11-2014 Undoubtedly some don't make it, but it is a cost-effective and efficient way to stock the hard-to-access high mountain lakes. Had a DWR rep there who claimed the loss factor was only 5 - 10%...and that there is an equivalent loss for stocking by truck. Trout are wimps but they evidently can withstand some rough treatment when smaller. [/#0000FF] [signature] |
