Makes me think of the Hobbit movie with the dwarves floating down the river in barrels.

I'm mounting the trolling motor to the front. Now if I could just figure out where that is. [Smile]

It's like a Push-me Pull-you, you'd never know if you're coming or going. Probably not very aero dynamic (I mean water-o). Interesting though.

Like the barrel pic. They DID end up with a full basket of fish at that end of that trip!

Don't think the flying saucer design with high center of gravity would work well if wind and waves kick up. Looks heavy, maybe could be rolled to protected waters?[Smile]

First thought that came to my mind as well Pon. Videos are nice calm water (but so are SeaEagle)
They need to have a little more real life situations.

Re: [flygoddess] New Ride??? - davetclown - 06-19-2014

that is interesting, I would deffenantly get dizzy, I am getting dizzy now just looking at it. The one thing I would worry about is which way to you point it to cut in to the waves on the lake?[:p]

not for me, but I like the concept... especialy the storage

I found me a new ride last month.

Ok, so it might need a little work... Ok it needs a lot of work.

replacing every single bolt,
all the wood,
the chain,
Paddle splash guard,
repair the stearing apperatus,
weld holes in the toons,
paint it to stop the oxidation....

and just for the fun, build a trialer from scratch to haul it with.

but when I am done, I can say I am a proud owner of a toon that floats... "will that get me in to the club"?[:p]
