American Falls report - Duck-Slayer - 05-22-2014
for carp that is.... there are carp everywhere there, had a tourney there this weekend in about 6 1/2 hours of shooting over 2 days my partner and I got 921.95lbs of carp good for 18th place..... 1st was 2,895lbs, we just couldn't carry the weight in my buddies boat, were taking mine next year, even though mine is only rated for 1360 after motor, but that's 700 more than my buddies boat, first time there, great place....

I used to shoot AF carp by the hundreds when I was in High school. There are some monsters in there! Good job!

looks like fun.
when I visit AF, I usually take the fly rod and normally hook up with some carp in the river. Carp below the dam gives the old 8 weight a work out. Will have to take the bow and boat next time.
