Weber Weekend - Jazzperch1 - 05-19-2014
Got out to do a little fly fishing this weekend, fished the upper and middle weeb.
Mostly nymphing but a few dry takers aswell.
Pink stonefly was working great with a grey sow trailed behind it but any small nymph like that was working, rainbow warriors, disco midges in red and green. My dad had just as good of luck on a prince nymph.
the few dry takers we had were on small adams.
The flows above rockport are starting to get that runoff affect and the fishing wasnt nearly as hot there as it was last week but the flows on the middle are good, i even think the water could come up a tad and still be great. I caught too many whitefish to count but i got a higher number of browns mixed in with the whitefish than normal.

I need to get out and fish the upper weeb, I never have but those are some good looking fish.
