CJ Narrows w/out a boat? - 1idahoguy - 04-16-2014 I've read plenty of posts regarding CJ. I have almost zero experience fishing there though. I would like to get my kids down there a little more often since it's so close to home. Quick (rookie) question: Is it possible to fish the narrows without a boat? Are there trails down to the water from the rim? [signature] Re: [1idahoguy] CJ Narrows w/out a boat? - dtayboyz - 04-16-2014 Rattlesnakes. You'd be better off at cove arm or jacks creek. Thanks. (time to convince the wife we *need* a boat!) Max depth within casting distance is 10-15 feet. You can't get to the deeper water without a boat. One of the parks would probably be a better bet with kids. [signature] |
