South Fork Snake - nm2id - 04-09-2014 Went to the South Fork for a couple of hours this evening, tough fishing. There is a lot of moss and weeds in the water, had to clean off after every cast. Hopefully it clears a bit soon. D [signature] Re: [nm2id] South Fork Snake - windriver - 04-09-2014 How far up or down are you fishing? It is up to 4,400 right now out of Pali ![]() [signature] Re: [jacksonlaker] South Fork Snake - Bmarsh - 04-09-2014 Check the Bur. of Rec website and anytime the water is below 5k fps any bump will usually take an avg of 2 days for the fishing to get back to normal. Above 5k fps any change under 1k fps usually doesn't effect it too much. Above 1k fps and it usually takes 2 days to clear out and the fish to recover. Isn't a 100% rule but through fishing it 30+ days a year for the last 13 years it is the pattern that we have found to be pretty accurate. [signature] |
