Lost Creek Below the Res. - BigCountryUT - 03-22-2014
I hit the Weber this morning and did OK but then I started to get the urge to do some exploring. I drove to Croydon to check out Lost Creek. The Reservoir is still frozen so I thought I would check out the creek below the dam. The water was perfectly clear and there was a hatch just getting started. Everything was absolutely perfect except there were no fish.
It has been years since I have fished that creek but the last time I did there were visible fish pretty much everywhere. The water was very clear and I could see to the bottom of every pool. I watched in several pools for quite a while and I did not see any fish whatsoever. I even tried to see if I could spook something out but had no luck.
I just seemed like I should have been seeing smaller trout everywhere but there was nothing. Did something happen to the creek or the fish? Does anybody know anything? It just seems weird. Thanks.

ive caught fish there last year before the freeze.. few and far between but they are in there. caught many small tigers and a few decent rainbows.
