MK Terrova - IDHunter - 03-07-2014 So after days and I mean days of research I pulled the trigger and bought the Minn Kota Terrova. Installing tonight/tomorrow. Few words of note: there are a ton of different models and you have to spend some time figuring out what features you would like to have. If anyone has any questions let me know and I can probably answer them, spent multible hours on the line with MK and there customer service is top notch. Without the i-pilot you might as well buy used on ebay. I have a 22.5 foot boat and it maneuvers my boat perfectly. The iPilot is a very cool feature, easy to use and mine has been flawless. I can bass fish with it all day and if I want to slow troll for kokanee I can get 8 hours of constant use out of it. My boat came with a Motorguide electric motor and it burned through batteries twice as fast and was not nearly as responsive with the remote control. I also had it in for 2 major warranty issues in two years so I'm very glad I made the switch. I have been thinking about getting one for several years and now the I pilot looks awesome . [signature] |
