Eastern Idaho Fishing - costanza.1980 - 02-23-2014 I'm just trying to get a list together of places within an hour's drive of Idaho Falls to go fishing. I grew up in Wyoming fishing in small creeks and lakes in the Windrivers. I've never had much luck on the south fork but I'm willing to try any place you guys have had luck. I just really wanna get out weekly this year. [signature] Re: [costanza.1980] Eastern Idaho Fishing - curt69 - 02-23-2014 Do you have a boat ? If you are going to wade fish the North Fork or Fall River you will need felt sole or carpet covered soles on the bottom of your boots . Very slippery river bottom . Blackfoot river is opened year round and can be good fishing also . Ririe resivior is thawed out , and you can go there and fish of the bank . The Snake north and south of Idaho Falls will be fair until the run off starts . [signature] |
