Back in the 70's and 80's Paddock was a great producer of crappie. Not large, but dependable and abundant. How is the crappie population now? is it worth the drive on what used to be a bit of a rough road?

Due to the low water years Paddock has not been good for many years. I would save my gas. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

I moved to Payette a couple years ago, and have been asking locals about Paddock.
I've heard one say they had decent fishing in the past 3 years at Paddock.
I drove up there once, but when I got there the wind was whipping pretty good-even though it was calm in town??)- and the water was way too murky. Never bothered to go back- that's a lot of dirt road for an iffy fishing hole!
