With the weather changing it sounds like the edges should be safe by saturday.

No problem. I always go to snowbird.com and click the 7 day weather report then drag it around the area that I'm planning to head out.

bring a plank or waders I'd suggest. There might even be a board left at the south load. Has in the past.

Fishing was slow today, I reccomend staying closer to the shore that seems where the best ice and fishing was.
The ice is starting to crack out in the middle of the lake, had a few cracks shake my shanty as they went underneath me
There was 10 inches where I was melting quickly as the weather warms
