Lowell Ice Fishing - Jimbojump - 02-06-2014
So, I went to try my hand for Perch at Lowell. I fished for 4 hours around the east dam ramp. Didn't get a single bite. What's up with that? Last year out of five holes I always got a bite at least every half hour...anyone having any luck down on the other end?

I haven't fished the Caldwell side, but the Nampa side has been off all year. I've been out 4 times this last week and have had 1 bite. Marked a lot of fish on the sonar yesterday and had them chasing jigs, but no matter what I offered, they wouldn't bite. [

Were you guys the ones in the Frabill flip over shanty?
If so, we were south and east of you a bit when you left. We got a few. Both of us also caught our first largemouth through the ice.

Wasn't me..LOL. Maybe I'll try down by the visitors center next time...What depth should I be trying...I was told yesterday to go shallow like 5 feet...but all the holes everyones drilling are way out there.
