Sparky's gone, I'm, drunk & hurting - Leaky33 - 01-03-2014 He left us today, liver failure. not sure, no autopsy results yet, happened quick. put him down. Dammmmmn, it hurts you just don't know the memories and the companionship unless you were in my shoes. Only post a small percentage here . Can't describe the savings from traps. drownings and just fun trips. It gets a little easier with time, but never feels "right." I've always tried to find a new best buddy as soon as I could after losing one. A few months maybe. Sparky truly had a passion for fishing (and sticks) that even I envied! Utah's angling community has lost a great fisherman. I will be sure to "clink a few shots" in the name of Sparky tonight. I buried her just after I turned 26. I still haven't got another. Can't convince myself to go through that much pain again. Hang in there.
