It's that time of year again. Nothing makes you feel more patriotic than saluting a Bald Eagle while you toss jigs for winter-phase bass.
This link is a cool look into the habits of the Bald Eagle, and how and when they use our waterways here in Southern Nevada.
Bring your binoculars next time you go out fishing. They are out there, and very cool to see!

most of you who know me, know why I call my hole that caught a 32 & 44lb striper Eagle Cove. They are beautiful, also when they are there I am pretty sure there are fish there.

Binoculars are always in the boat! This time of the year Madi is glued to them watching the Eagles. Lots of them out there. More than once we have seen over a dozen different ones in a single day on Mead.

I love watching them dive bomb trout down on the river...
Well I used to anyway. Ive seen them take coots,ducks, and trout down there very awesome!!!

Spotted two a few months back kayaking from Willow to Lake Mojave , they are absolutely awesome , much bigger than i thought one would be.
