Anyone been around Ririe Reservoir lately? Wondering about all those Kokane…. They are the stuff of dreams…
I don't live close, and would love to know when the ice is safe.[signature]

I stopped by there on Saturday and water was completely open. An old timer fishing at the doc said it usually doesnt ice over until January.

It's a funky lake. It and Pali
es are two of the last lakes in our area to freeze over. He's right that it is usually January before it freezes over, but with these unusually cold temperatures maybe we got a chance to hit it a little sooner this year.[signature]
